Yesterday shockwaves rocked the internet as Nicole Richie hit the streets in a flirty silk camisole by top LA designer Rozae Nichols. Within 5 minutes of the web postings, Rozae received over 75 inquiries for the top, just from eager bloggers alone.
Buzzflikr caught up with her yesterday as her entire studio scrambled to find yardage of the firm’s signature cream and navy leaf print and fill the orders. Here’s how it happened:
The cami was purchased at Ron Herman by Nicole’s stylist. It wasn’t product placement or a gift. But the impact of this siting was enormous- consumers all over the world wanted this top yesterday and hit the Rozae Nichols website to find out more. Thanks to Michele, brands like these are now available to eco-friendly, conscious Hollywood glitterati for the very first time.
The longtime movie stylist was widely interviewed last night about her commitment to the environment and her debut of the first and only agency for ecoluxe brands and sustainable couture from Europe.
The chic atelier above The Silk Trading Company on LA’s trendy La Brea Avenue is now home to some of the most sought-after labels within the environmental community. View The Eco Bungalow’s media profile here and watch this space for details coming soon!

An exciting day today here at the Buzzflikr hive. Tonight we present The Eco Bungalow on the red carpet at the Environmental Media Association awards.
Hollywood stylista Michele Llanos opened her doors this month as the first agency for European ecoluxe and sustainable couture on the West Coast. Serving the film industry, celeb stylists and the advertising community, Michele’s mission is to preserve the environment and promote responsible spending- one beautiful garment at a time.
For you die-hard fashionistas, the inside scoop is she’s wearing NOIR, a cutting edge brand from Denmark. NOIR is also participating in tonight’s black tie auction, which is certain to catch the eyes of tonight’s eco celebutants. Michele’s a little nervous, but we’re beaming with pride!
LA’s Top Jewelry Retailer Predicts Election Outcome
LA’s top jewelry retailer, Jennifer Kaufman, is recognized globally for predicting high fashion trends and boasts a loyal global following of shoppers who find her on the web. Then she made her mark in politics with a bold prediction about the US presidential election. Two weeks prior to election day, she correctly called the Obama win, based on merchandise sales from her website.
Six inch action figures of Barak Obama and John McCain were instant hits on Jennifer’s website and produced orders from around the world. When asked what triggered the veteran Hollywood stylist’s radar, she explained “I knew we were watching an historical phenom when sales of the Obama doll outsold McCain 2-to-1.”

Key items like these collectibles by Jailbreak Toys draw web traffic in excess of a few million hits a year for the JK site and represent a significant portion of the company’s total business- not bad for a single venue store located in LA’s trendy Beverly Center, and just one more reason we here at Buzzflikr believe in the power of an online community.
