Eco Hair Color Palette Announced for Fall 09
Celebrity hair stylist and eco beauty advocate Susan Henry has announced her eco color forecast for Fall 2009. The vibrant hair color palette is the first-ever non-toxic color line in the market and debuted at the First Annual Fall Into Fashion Event held on September 17, 2009 at SHADES by Susan Henry’s all-green salon in Beverly Hills.
The new colors are Black Cherry, Ancient Amber, Golden Apricot and Gunmetal Gorgeous and were paired with selections from Los Angeles designer Elaine Kim’s cutting edge fall apparel range.
Invited guests, editors and a growing circle of environmental advocates attended the event and were treated to organic California wines, snacks provided by The Den of Hollywood and The Farm’s famous all-natural brownies.

This month Buzzflikr had the pleasure of announcing yet another exciting collaboration on behalf of our home furnishings client, CRATE by Carlos Alberto. The upscale turnkey furnishings brand has collaborated with Rio Amapas, the first and only ecological resort residence in Puerto Vallarta to bring a new level of sustainable luxury to the region.
Partners of the two companies are lifelong friends and created an eco-friendly furnishings concept available exclusively to residents of this low-impact jungle retreat. The soup-to-nuts package includes organic hemp upholstery, luxury bamboo linens, reclaimed driftwood accessories and comes move-in ready with the company’s signature White Glove Installation.

CRATE by Carlos Alberto Launches in U.S.
We’re buzzing with pride this morning at the media frenzy created by Buzzflikr member, Carlos Alberto of CRATE. Launching his turnkey furnishings brand in the US this past weekend set off the whir of media wings as newswires picked up our press release announcing his collaboration with EVO South in Los Angeles. The long-awaited eco-friendly luxury development is the first and only LEED certified highrise community in downtown LA and features a stylish CRATE by Carlos Alberto model home.
